Who Dragged a Kitten to Her Death in Ocean City? $1000 Reward Offered

Do you know what Ted Bundy, David Berkowitz and Jeffrey Dahmer have  in common other than just being serial killers? These three murderers are also connected by the fact that each of them tortured and/or killed animals... during their childhoods.

The Humane Society of Ocean City is asking for your help with information in the death of a cat dragged behind a car in the neighborhood of 50th and Haven Avenue in Ocean City on Tuesday, June 19th or Wednesday morning, June 20th.

Bill Hollingsworth, the Executive Director of the Humane Society of Ocean City, who often brings in the Lite Rock Pet of the Week  Thursdays on the Lite Rock Morning Show,  has asked for any help we can provide in bringing those responsible to justice in the horrible case of animal torture.

The approximately 8 month-old female kitten, brown and black tiger striped cat, has been named "Hope" by the shelter staff at the Humane Society of Ocean City.  When her body was discovered by the Ocean City Police around 8am on the morning of June 20th, over fifty percent of her body had been skinned to the bone and a plastic clothes line used to drag her behind the vehicle was still tied to her neck.

Hollingsworth says, "This was an innocent animal that suffered a tragic death and someone is responsible.  We need to stop this person from doing something like this to an animal or a person again"
