Where to Find the Best Burgers in South Jersey

If you're a burger lover, you're always on the hunt for a great burger joint. After all, it IS one of America's favorite comfort foods.

Americans eat 50 billion burgers a year, according to Burger Web. I know my own burger consumption goes up right around this time of the year when grilling season gets underway.

In case you're searching for the best of the best, NJ.com rated the best burgers in all of the Garden State just in time for National Hamburger Month.

According to the survey, the best burger in Atlantic County can be found at Vagabond Kitchen & Tap House, Atlantic City. The Vagabond Viking Burger scored high marks.   Runners up included Tailgaters Sports Bar and Grille in Galloway and The Palm in Atlantic City.

The best burger in Cape May County, according to NJ.com, can be found at The Red Store in Cape May Point. The Red Store Burger rated very highly. Runners up included Tavern on the Bay in Somers Point and Steakhouse Burger, Cattle-n-Clover, Wildwood.

I definitely plan on making a stop at Vagabonds and The Red Store. Nothing beats a burger, fries and a cold one on a hot summer day!  .
