What To Expect When You Pick Up Your Thanksgiving Dinner Tuesday
Thanks to the generosity of our listeners, we are spending the day Tuesday handing out Thanksgiving dinners to those in need.
If you're picking up a dinner, here's what to expect.
First of all, in order to pick up a dinner, you must have registered on our website. When you signed up, you filled out a form with your name and your town or city. You also should have indicated what time you are picking up your dinner.
If you did not sign up, you cannot pick up a dinner. All the available meals have been claimed.
We are scheduled to hand out Thanksgiving turkey dinners to over 800 families.
All dinners can be picked up in the parking lot of our studios located at 950 Tilton Road in Northfield. As you enter the parking lot, please pay attention, as you will be directed on where to go as soon as you pull in.
The first thing you will do is pull up to the check-in so we can search for your name on our list. You must provide some sort of ID to pick up your dinner. We will not give your dinner to anyone else but you. (Please, one dinner per household.)
Once you check in, you'll be directed to pull your car to a designated area, where we will load your turkey and the rest of your dinner into your car. (Please stay in the car, and keep your car running.)
Once your dinner is loaded, you will be directed on how to leave the parking area.
Please note, that we are expecting a lot of traffic in the area, so please use extreme caution.
Your dinner will include an uncooked turkey, and additional food. Please prepare all foods according to directions.
Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
Once again, a big thank you to everyone who donated to the "Feed a Family" cause!
