Lite Rock Salutes South Jersey Teachers at Annual Luncheon

It's no secret that we love our teachers here in South Jersey. Throughout the school year, thousands of students are influenced to dream big and pursue higher education thanks to inspiring educators. After another successful school year, it's time to honor some of these hardworking teachers!

We celebrated some wonderful teachers on Friday, June 22nd for the annual Teacher of the Year Banquet at Angelo’s Fairmont Tavern in Atlantic City. All of this year's winners of Lite Rock's Teacher of the Month enjoyed lunch together alongside the students who nominated them.

A special congratulations goes to 2018's Lite Rock Teacher of the Year, Elaine King from Brigantine Elementary School and her nominating student, Ashlyn, who is our $2,000 scholarship winner!

A huge thank you to the teachers and students who joined us, and a big thanks to all the teachers in the South Jersey!
