This weekend you can be part of the celebration to remember the life of "Tony" from Somers Point's legendary rock 'n' roll club, Tony Mart's, as the Sandi Pointe Bistro in Somers Point hosts a  birthday party on what would have been Anthony Marotta's 100th birthday.

The club, known for presenting tons of exciting live acts including  Bill Haley and the Comets, Mitch Ryder and Del Shannon and the Band (when they were still called Levon Helm and the Hawks) over the years, and famous for being the spot where the 1982 movie "Eddie and the Cruisers" was filmed, may be long gone from the Somers Point bay front, but it's certainly not forgotten!

Friday's celebration features Tony Mart favorites, the All-Star Bobby Fingers Band.

Other fun thing to do this weekend include...

-Caesars : Patti LaBelle, Fri.1/10

- Borgata: Comic Eddie Griffin, Fri. 1/10, Music Box

- Boardwalk Hall: AHL Hockey returns with the Albany Devils vs. the Hersey Bears, Sun. 1/12 @4pm
