Which ‘Weed-Killer’ Infected Products Your Children Should Avoid
It has been all over the news and I am sure Moms and Dads all over South Jersey are freaking out over the headlines: "Weed Killer Found In Popular Cereals."
Basically, this chemical glyphosate was found in various foods with "potentially dangerous [levels] for children."
So, there is nothing to do but avoid the infected flavors, which unfortunately is a pretty hefty list. Get ready to toss quite a bit from your pantry.
What To Avoid:
Lucky Charms (without marshmallows)
Kellogg's Cracklin' Oat Bran
Barbara's Multigrain Spoonfuls (original flavor)
Back to Nature Classic Granola
Quaker's Simply Granola Oats
Raisin and Almonds
Nature Valley's Granola Protein Oats 'n Honey
Nature Valley Crunchy Granola Bars (Oats 'n Honey)
Quaker Steel Cut Oats
Quaker Old Fashioned Oats
Quaker Dinosaur Eggs Brown Sugar Instant Oatmeal
Great Value Original Instant Oatmeal
Umpqua Oats Maple Pecan
Market Pantry Instant Oatmeal (Strawberries & Cream)
Bob's Red Mill Steel Cut Oats
There were not too many, in comparison, that tested free of glyphosate but to check out the original article and study in more detail, visit NJ.com.
