A job fair for people interested in working at this month's Atlantic City beach concerts is being held today and Thursday, Aug. 5-6 at the Atlantic City Convention Center.

The beach concerts feature Maroon 5 on Sunday, Aug. 16 and Rascal Flatts Aug. 20.

Available positions include beer service employees, bar porters, runners, and wrist band checkers. All candidates must be 18 or older to apply and over 21 to serve alcohol. Candidates must be able to work both event days (shift times will vary) and some positions may require the lifting of 50 pounds or more.

Spectra by Comcast Spectacor, which provides venue management and food services & hospitality to Boardwalk Hall and the Atlantic City Convention Center, is hosting a job fair.

Interested individuals should be prepared to bring two forms of ID and TIPS certification (if applicable) with them to the Atlantic City Convention Center on Wednesday, August 5 or Thursday, August 6, from 10 a.m. to noon or 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. to apply.

The two outdoor concerts are Maroon 5 are produced by Live Nation and sponsored by the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority and the Atlantic City Alliance.  Spectra by Comcast Spectacor is overseeing the Food Services & Hospitality, which includes contracting with local food vendors and hiring more than 250 part-time employees for these two events.
