Join Lite Rock At The Walmart Grand Opening In Rio Grande

Coming up this Saturday, February 2nd is the grand opening for the newly renovated Walmart located at 3159 Route 9 in Rio Grande and don't forget that Lite Rock is going to be there!

Join Lite Rock 96.9 WFPG this Saturday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM because the midday event will feature free food samples, giveaways, plus we are going you the chance to win tickets to see Fleetwood Mac at Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall on March 9th.

The chain will maintain their everyday low prices and offer a broad assortment of fresh groceries and general merchandise. There is also a pharmacy within the store and you can even splurge and order online grocery pickup if you don't feel like doing it yourself!

Events will be going on all day long on February 3rd and 9th to celebrate so take a look at the full schedule below.

Sunday, Feb 3, 12 – 6 p.m.

· Welcome tent: hotdogs, steak, meatballs, fresh fruit, bottled water

· Pickup tent: coffee

· Kids tent: Lollipops, Ice cream floats, seasonal craft activity, cup giveaway, shopping totes giveaway

Saturday, Feb 9, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.

· Welcome tent: sausages, bottled water

· Kids tent: Rice Krispies Treat decorating, First Responder thank you cards coloring activity, bubbles giveaway
