Vote Here for Your Favorite South Jersey Beach As NJ’s Best

Summer is in sight and it's time again to vote for New Jersey's top ten beaches.

South Jersey beaches have understandably dominated this list in the past, with Ocean City being named the top beach in 2014, and Cape May County beaches taking all five top spots and seven of the top ten.

Here is 2014's top ten beach list:

1. Ocean City
2. Wildwood
3. Wildwood Crest
4. North Wildwood
5. Cape May
6. Belmar
7. Stone Harbor
8. Asbury Park
9. Sea Isle City
10. Island Beach State Park

Atlantic County beaches, however, were shut out last year, which seems like real oversight to me!  So, please keep your favorite Atlantic County beach in mind this year. Let's see some love for Brigantine, beach people, and don't forget my hometown beach, Margate!

Voting continues through June 19th.

The New Jersey Top Ten Beach Contest is a collaboration between the New Jersey Sea Grant Consortium and Stockton University's Coastal Research Center.

Winners will be announced before the 4th of July holiday.
