Tess Solazzo, Lacrosse, Ocean CityShe continues to earn a reputation as one of the most dominant players in the state. Solazzo, who is committed to compete on the lacrosse field for Ohio State, was sensational in a victory over Millville. She scored nine goals, dismantling the Thunderbolts' defensive attack throughout a 15-6 win.

 

Kenny Merlock, Baseball, OakcrestHe played the role of hero against Cape-Atlantic League rival Hammonton. Merlock lifted the Falcons to victory with a three-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning. His walk-off shot gave Oakcrest an 8-5 win over the Blue Devils.

 

Dustin Guenther, Lacrosse, Absegami - He put on a phenomenal performance to lead the Braves to a 15-6 victory over Vineland. Guenther scored six goals and dished out three assists en route to setting the school's all-time single-game record of nine points.

 

Emily DeMarco, Softball, St. JoeHer seventh-inning grand slam gave St. Joe a stunning 5-2 victory over Millville. DeMarco's timely long ball broke a late-game tie and delivered a memorable Wildcats win.

 

Roberto Rivera, Baseball, Millville - The pitcher turned in a gutsy effort against Egg Harbor Township. Rivera returned to the mound for nine innings of work before the Thunderbolts eventually broke through at the plate. He scattered four hits through nine frames and picked up the win as Millville prevailed 7-4 in a 10-inning thriller.
