Twinkies May Be Back for the Summer of 2013

Here's some good news If you a big lover of Twinkies and miss the golden spongy cream filled snack. Hostess is moving ahead with its plans to sell Twinkies and the new owners would like to have Twinkies back on the shelf by this summer.

Bankrupt Hostess plans to sell Twinkies along with Ding Dongs and Ho Hos to Metropoulos & Company which had submitted the high bid for Hostess.

I have to admit I'm not a big Twinkies fan... Yodels were my favorite snack growing up with Devil Dogs coming in a close second...

Hostess stopped making its snacks, cakes and Wonder Bread in late November after it announced it was going out of business and closing its plants because of financial struggles.
