Trump CEO Would Like to Keep Taj Mahal Open Through 2015

The CEO of Trump Entertainment Resorts is asking  billionaire Carl Icahn to keep the property open well into the  New Year.

The Taj Mahal is scheduled to close its doors on Saturday morning. Bob Griffin, Trump CEO, has asked to keep the Taj open during the union appeal. The casino could stay open well into the second quarter of 2015 if billionaire Carl Icahn decides to keep the Taj open. Ichan has not commented on the request.

The casino is set to close at 5:59 a.m. this Saturday. The Taj would become the fifth Atlantic City casino to close this year. Check back for more updates.
