The first Tropical Storm of the season may be headed our way just in time to start the 4th of July weekend..

According The National Hurricane Center, Tropical Storm Authur was loacated 95 miles east of Cape Carnival, Florida with sustained winds of 40 M.P.H.

Our Lite Rock Meteroligist Alan Kasper expects Arthur  to track up the coast and then veer off to the north. Arthur will be  off the Outer Banks of North Carolina on Friday morning and should stay well to the south of New Jersey early Saturday morning.

Acording to Allan, we could get heavy rain including 2-3 inches in certain areas Thursday night into Friday morning. Conditions should improve just n time for Fireworks on Friday night. Saturday and Sunday should be perfect beach days with lots of sun and warm temps.
