The II5K is coming back to Atlantic City on Saturday, August 15th at Bader Field. That means you have a little less than 3 weeks to get ready!

The good thing about the II5K is that it’s not timed, and the fun, bouncy obstacles provide a little ‘break’ from the running, so you don’t have to be able to run the 3.1 miles straight through.

You can start now to get in shape for II5K. Try doing a 5 minute brisk walk to warm-up, then for the next 20 minutes, you can alternate jogging for 60 seconds and walking for 90 seconds. You can start at  30 seconds if 60 is too much for you. You should start slow and ease your way into training. Here are some training tips to get you off the couch and on your way to your very first 5K!
