You knew the warmer temperatures wouldn't last. I'm not a big fan of the cold and everything that comes along with the winter season including the snow, ice and bitter cold temps.

Say bye bye to the decent temps we've been having as the first blast of winter heads to South Jersey.

The Press of Atlantic City is reporting that a code blue will be in effect for all of Atlantic County starting tonight at 6 PM and continuing throughout the day on Tuesday.

According to our Lite Rock meteorologist Dan Zarrow, temps will drop to near freezing tonight. Wet weather will set the stage for our next storm system starting tonight into Tuesday Morning. A Winter Weather advisory is in effect for five counties in the Northern part of our state.

Temps will really start to nose dive on Thursday and Friday with another possibility of winter weather Saturday into Sunday night.

Here's a list of warming shelters located throughout Atlantic County as we get ready for the first blast of Winter for 2019.
