This Weekend’s Linwood Country Fair Continues a Proud Tradition

The annual Linwood Country Fair will be held Saturday, May 12th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m at the All Wars Memorial Park.  The fair has been an annual part of Spring in Linwood  for the last 18 years,  but it has much deeper roots.  The event was  actually started back in the 1930's by the Central... United Methodist Church and became an annual tradition again back in 1994.

It's a country fair and that means animals take center stage. The fair begins with its customary pet parade and includes pony rides, barnyard animals and a demonstration by the Egg Harbor Township K9 Squad.

The day also includes  cheer leading and dance exhibitions, the Fralingers String Band, a dunk dank and bouncy rides.  What country Fair would be complete without crafts, games food and music?  Nice weather is expected for the event this Saturday.

The event is sponsored by the Linwood Board of Recreation.
