As the month of August quickly passes us by, many are scrambling to check off the rest of their summer bucket lists.

In the midst of this mass scramble, people often overlook the little things. They focus on the huge plans, such as attending music festivals, exclusive beach parties, etc. and forget about simple, traditional and easily enjoyable summertime activities - like toasting marshmallows!

If you haven’t yet toasted a single marshmallow [or made S’mores] this summer, August 30th is the perfect day to do it - on National Toasted Marshmallow Day!

The National Day Calendar gives you a reason to get in the spirit of something every single day of the year. Gather some wood, sticks, a bag of marshmallows and get toastin’ with your friends and family.

What's a great way to enjoy one of the last pink-and-orange lit sunsets of the summer? Obviously, with a golden brown toasted marshmallow!

Let us know how you'd celebrate this year's National Toasted Marshmallow Day! Graham crackers, chocolate, beer and bug spray are highly encouraged down in South Jersey.
