Do you have a favorite old school restaurant? What makes it special to you?  Is it the food, the menu, or the fact that the restaurant holds so many special memories for you?

NJ.com has just put a list out of the top 35 best old-school favorite restaurants in the entire Garden State. According to the list, here are the old-school eateries from South Jersey. The list is not comprised by the quality food but how the restaurant fits the nature of being branded as old-school.

The first South Jersey restaurant that makes this list is White House Subs in Atlantic City which comes in at #25. Can't argue with that!  White House Subs has been an Atlantic City staple since 1946.

Coming in next at #21 is Twisties Tavern on the Bay in Strathmere which originally  opened as the Bayview Inn in 1950.

Tony's Baltimore Grill makes the list at # 14. Tony's has been an Atlantic City institution since 1927. You definitely get that old-school feeling and atmosphere at the legendary Tony's in AC!

The highest ranking old-school establishment on the list is the iconic Oyster Creek Inn located in in Leeds Point. This legendary restaurant  has been serving delicious seafood since 1938!
