The season 4 finale of "The Walking Dead" broke an all-time record with 15.7 million people watching on Sunday night.

Of course, plans are already underway for Season 5 and those plans could include South Jersey.According to the Shore News Today, Somers Point may be a viable location for an all out zombie apocalypse next season.

Executive Producer Scott Gimple reportedly began scouting Morrow Beach on Bay Avenue in Somers Point yesterday. The Walking Dead will be filming scenes for season 5 on the east coast, but exact locations have not been determined yet. However, a production crew and a couple of main characters from the show, Daryl and Michonne were spotted on the beach and near the boardwalk.
