Mullica Township Police are still reporting that a 3- to- 4 foot Alligator that was first spotted and confirmed by police on Tuesday afternoon, is still on the loose.

The Press of Atlantic City reports that the gator was last seen by a resident sometime Wednesday around the vicinity of Hamburg Ave between Route 30 and Dueer Street.

According to police, the gator was someone's pet that was set free or got loose.

Police are still urging residents to keep an eye on all small pets in the area and to call them at 609-652-2037 if you do come across the gator. Police are warning you not to approach the animal.
