In the spirit of Halloween, I must say this is one of the most interesting articles I have stumbled upon.

So yes, a little creepy but think about a cemetery. Some are there to pay their respects while others may just walk among the gravestones for peace and quiet -- kinda creepy if you ask me but you do you.

But there were quite a few gravestones that had rather unique messages on them that gave you an idea of what that person was like while they were alive. Kind of inspiring if you think about it.

Take a look at some of the most interesting below.

"Marines never die. They just go to hell and regroup."

Egg Harbor City Cemetery, Egg Harbor City

"Holy Moly"

Egg Harbor City Cemetery, Egg Harbor City

"Fat Cat" (This gravestone is actually a cat btw)

"It is a far, far better rest than I go to than I have ever known."

Good Luck Cemetery, Forked River

"Back on her own two feet"

Now this one is closer to the Jersey Shore but I thought it was too good not to add.

"I Win"

B'Nai Israel Memorial Park, Toms River

Kind of spooky but just imagine the spunk coming off of some of these spirits. Definitely, a Halloween themed post today so I hope you enjoyed.

Now to get even creepier, what message would you put on your gravestone if you could put anything?

I would probably put, "Be sure to take the dogs out"
