Teacher of the Month: Patrick O’Keefe Teaches the Band to Play at Smithville Elementary

Congratulations to February’s Lite Rock Teacher of the Month, Patrick O'Keefe from Smithville Elementary School .

Mr. O'Keefe is a music teacher and the band director at Smithville Elementary.  He was nominated by his students Daniel and Luke DiGiovannantonio.

I am a real advocate of music eduction in school, and Mr. O'Keefe makes several great points about its importance at Smithville Elementary School.

Patrick O'Keefe wins a membership to Island Gym and a Lite Rock pizza party for his class courtesy of Carluccio’s Pizza in Northfield.  For submitting the nomination,Daniel and Luke are now qualified for a $2000 scholarship from Lite Rock.
