Miss America Pageant week is finally underway.

In September of 2016, Savvy Shields had the biggest night of her life right here in South Jersey when she was crowned the new Miss America at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. Since then, Savvy keeps a special piece of AC with her everywhere she goes.

Your new Miss America is Miss Arkansas, Savvy Shields! Shields was declared the winner last night in the pageant finals held at Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall, and broadcast on ABC-TV.

Unlike years' past, Saturday's weather was perfect as the 2017 Miss America contestants showed off their shoes in a parade fit for a queen!

It's Miss America weekend in Atlantic City and again this year, we will be broadcasting the annual "Show Us Your Shoes" Parade from the Boardwalk this Saturday.

Miss America pageant week has begun! The preliminaries kick off today with the sole goal of finding a brand new Miss America.

The 96th Annual Miss America Pageant is set for Sunday, September 11th at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. Starting this Tuesday, contestants will take the stage with the goal of becoming Miss America 2017!
