Here we go again. Looks like we're starting the week with another wave of vibrations and booming noises, especially in the Cardiff section of Egg Harbor Township.
Here in Jersey, we don't have much experience with earthquakes. In fact, the first time I felt one was back in 2011 when a 5.8 magnitude quake hit Virginia and the tremors reached our area.
Fast forward to today, when I felt the floor start to shake. But was it an actual earthquake?
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, tsunami warnings and alerts have been issued in the wake of a 7.9-magnitude earthquake, deep under the sea, near the Philippines.
