At what point during the big fight that broke out between patrons last night at the T.G.I. Fridays in Egg Harbor Township, did the magnet-heavy, suspender-clad wait staff realize... they weren't going to handle this situation by suggesting everyone calm down and enjoy a Totally Tropical Piña Colada Smoothie?

One thing is certain; management at the T.G.I. Fridays in the Harbor Square shopping plaza (the old Shore Mall) did realize they needed help controlling the squabble between two restaurant parties and called for assistance.

According to the Press of Atlantic City, eight police vehicles from Egg Harbor Township, Northfield and Pleasantville responded to a call about a fight involving as many as 20 people at the restaurant at 8:12pm Monday.

The newspaper quotes the restaurant manager as saying the fight occurred in a seating dispute between two groups of diners.  Police are investigating.
