Strike Up the Band! The Teacher of the Month at Smithville School [AUDIO]

Friday, I visited Patrick O'keefe's class at Smithville Elementary School.  Mr. O'keefe, our Lite Rock Teacher of the Month, is the Band Director at Smithville.

Mr. O'Keefe was nominated by his students Daniel and Luke DiGiovannantonio, who were impressed with the passion and enthusiasm he brings to the job.

We had a fun visit in Mr. O'keefe’s class, including a pizza party courtesy of Carluccio’s Coal-Fired Pizza in Northfield.

Mr. O'keefe won a membership to Island Gym for his selection as the Lite Rock Teacher of the Month, and Daniel and Luke may be the winners of a $2000 scholarship for nominating their teacher.
