The Egg Harbor Township Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding the people responsible for causing substantial damage to one of the street hockey courts in Veteran’s Memorial Park off Ocean Heights Avenue.

Police say the incident took place between 9:00 Sunday night and about 5:30 Monday evening. The damage consisted of the plastic floor decking that covers the entire court being pulled apart, disconnected from the court, and rolled up in spots. There are visible tire marks on some of the decking that would indicate a bike or ATV was being ridden on the court. The Egg Harbor Township Street Hockey Association is still evaluating the extent of the damage at this time but they say the cost to replace the decking is around $35,000.

Anyone with any information is acked to contact EHT Police at 926-4051 or Atlantic County Crime Stoppers at (800) 658-8477.
