Legendary Journey lead singer Steve Perry returned to the stage and performed live over the holiday weekend fo rhte first time since 1995.

The former Journey frontman surprised the heck out of the audinece when he made an apperance with alternative rock band Eels during their show this past Sunday at the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul, MN.

Perry sang perfect renditions of Journey’s hits ‘Open Arms,’ and ‘Lovin’, Touchin’, Squeezin’. The audience was thrilled withPerry’s appearance on stage and even sang along with him during Lovin' Touchin', Squeezin'.

Steve Perry orgianlly left Journey in 1986 only to retuen in 1996 for 'Trial by Fire'. There were rumours floating around of a possible Journey reunion with Steve Perry. The rumours were quickly shot down by the band's managment.

Perry is said to be working on a new solo album which would be his first in almost 20 years.
