Stepping Up With ARC Walk Helps the Disabled & Their Families
Lite Rock 96.9 WFPG invites you to join us Sat. Nov. 4 on the Ventnor Boardwalk as we participate in the Step Up for ARC of Atlantic County Walk.
The 15th Annual Step Up For The Arc Walk in support of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) on Saturday, November 4, 2017 will start at Holy Trinity Parish (St. James Campus), Newport and Atlantic Avenues in Ventnor City, and walking down the Ventnor City Boardwalk.
All proceeds will benefit The Arc’s Family Support programs. Family Support services give parents the opportunity to have their loved ones in after care program which helps them fulfill the duties of full-time employment.
Additionally, the programs provide caregivers a much-needed break from the often exhausting job of providing 24/7 care for their loved one, as well as provide an opportunity for people with I/DD to participate in skill-building and social activities and make friends.
Join Lite Rock 96.9 WFPG Saturday, Nov 4 for all the fun of Stepping Up for ARC!
Check-in begins at 8:30 AM, at Holy Trinity Parish – St. James Campus, 6415 Atlantic Avenue in Ventnor, with the 3/4 mile walk kicking off at 9:30 AM on the Ventnor City Boardwalk.
