Steel Pier Video Shows Many of the Happiest and Saddest Days of Famed Attraction

YouTube

If your old enough to remember some of Atlantic City’s famed Steel Pier, here’s a video collection of photos… that will bring back memories.

Even if you’re not old enough to remember Steel Pier’s glory days personally, you will probably recognize many of these images from stories you’ve heard.  From the diving horse and The Music Hall Theater to Dick Clark and Ed Hurst’s record hops, there are some pretty cool pictures mostly from back in the 60′s and 70′s era Steel Pier included here.

The video ends with what I’m guessing was the 1982 Steel Pier fire that destroyed the original wooden structure.

Please leave your thought and comments below after you’ve watched the video.  Enjoy!
