Congratulations to Mrs. Sharon Wilson , the Lite Rock Teacher of the Month for April.

Mrs. Wilson, who teaches 4th grade at St. Joseph's Regional School in Somers Point, was nominated her student Summer Stevenson.

We had a fun time Tuesday bringing a Lite Rock Pizza party, courtesy of Capri Pizza and Grille in Northfield, to Mrs. Wilson's class. Hear highlights of my visit below in this post.

Mrs. Wilson won a year membership to Island Gym, a fresh fruit flower arrangement from B.F. Mazzeo in Northfield and a Lite Rock pizza party for her class from Capri Pizza in Northfield, and a $50 gift card to Hamilton Mall.

For submitting the nomination, Summer is now qualified for a $2000 scholarship from Lite Rock.

Do you know of an excellent South Jersey teacher we should consider as the Lite Rock Teacher of the Month?

Teacher of the Month nominations need only be about 100 words in length and are a great way of recognizing excellence for a teacher who is making a real difference in your child’s life.
