South Jersey Remembers: Local September 11th Anniversary Events

Many South Jersey towns have events planned to commemorate the 12th anniversary of the September 11th attacks. Here's a list of local activities being held in remembrance of September 11th. All events are on 9/11 unless otherwise noted.

Atlantic County:

• Absecon:  6:00 p.m. at the Absecon Firehouse, RT. 9 & New Jersey. Ave (Tuesday, Sept. 10th)
• Atlantic Cape Community College: 1:00 p.m. on the Mays Landing Campus
• Atlantic City:  10:00 a.m. at Jackson Ave & the Boardwalk
• Brigantine:  9:50 a.m. at 1417 W. Brigantine Avenue
• Galloway Township: 7:00 p.m. at Patriot Lake, 300 E. Jimmy Leeds Road
• Hammonton: 7:00 p.m. at St. Joseph''s Church, 222 Third Street
• Somers Point: 8:30 a.m. at Patriot Park, Bethel Road

Cape May County:

• Cape May Court House:  5:00 p.m., County Admin. Building, 4 Moore Road
• Lower Township:  6:00 p.m. at Sunset Beach
• North Wildwood:  8:46am at City Hall, 9th & Atlantic Aves.
• Ocean City: 6:00 p.m., 6th Street Firehouse
• Sea Isle City:  9:00 a.m. at Veterans Park, JFK Blvd. & Landis Ave.
• Stone Harbor:  11:00 a.m. at Peace Park, 123rd St. & 2nd Ave.
• Upper Township: 10:00 a.m. at Osprey Point, 1731 RT. 9, Seaville
• Wildwood Crest:  5:30pm, next to Sunset Lake, New Jersey & Miami Aves.

Cumberland County:

• Millville:  6:30 p.m. at Riverfront Park, Buck & Main Street
• Vineland:  8:45 a.m. at City Hall, 640 Wood Street
