The season of spookiness is here. Time to get the candy and costumes ready for Halloween 2017. One of my all-time favorite things to do when my boys were small was to take them trick or treating. 

Here's a list  Halloween events in South Jersey for Shore News Today so you can have your own spooky fun with you family!

Lite Rock's Safe Trick or Treat: Sunday, October 29th from 11am-1pm at Birch Grove Park in Northfield. Join us for a costume contest, bounce house, hayrides, pumpkin picking, and of course tons of Halloween candy.

Annual Boo Bash- Oct. 21st- 11 AM to 2 PM  -Ventnor Plaza Shopping Center. Get ready for pumpkin decorating, face painting, petting zoo and lots of candy.

Halloween Party:  Just for kids from 1-12  Oct. 27th 5:30-7:30 PM at the Pleasantville Recreation Center- costume contest, games, prizes and candy!   

Halloween House Decorating Contest: Get your spooky decorations ready as the Absecon Community Affairs Committee will be judging impressive displays from  Friday Oct 27th-Monday Oct. 30th -  If you're an Absecon resident you can enter on the  Absecon Community Affairs Committee Facebook page.

Halloween Party Part 1: Oct. 27th 4:30-7:30 This one at the Egg Harbor Township Library is just for kids between 8-12

Halloween Party Pt. 2: Monday Oct 30th 3-4:30 PM at the Pleasantville Branch of the Atlantic County Library System

Trunk or Treat: Saturday Oct 28th 5 to 7 PM- This one is for children 12 and under. Galloway residents only. Check out over 40 decorated trunks for Halloween!

Halloween Spooktacular: EHT Parks and Recreation- Monday Oct. 30th 6-7:30 PM   For kids 3-11. Halloween goodies, crafts, pumpkin decorating and costume parade. Cost is $5 per child.
