Residents in parts of southern New Jersey can use a broom instead of a shovel to clear a light dusting of snow that fell overnight.

Motorists in the Philadelphia suburbs and along parts of the Jersey shore should be prepared for slippery conditions.

Bitter cold temperatures that blasted New Jersey on Wednesday allowed the snow to stick on roads and sidewalks.

The snow isn’t expected to last long. Temperatures are expected in the 40s on Thursday.
