NBC's new reality game show is like if American Ninja Warrior and American Gladiators had a baby. It's called The Titan Games, and there are several athletes from the Garden State set to compete, including a man from Camden County.

Voorhees born and raised Jon Brascetta, now a Sicklerville resident, will be one of the first to take on the physically and mentally intense obstacles of The Titan Games, which is being hosted by Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. In the trailer for the series, Johnson calls The Titan Games, 'The most insane athletic competition ever devised.'

Brascetta, who left Cabrini College to pursue Martial Arts, spoke about the unpredictability of the reality show, telling NJ.com, "[Titan Games] was something that I could have never trained for... nothing that the gym could prepare you for. It was literally like walking around with a blindfold."

More than 10,000 athletes reportedly auditioned for the show, but only 32 men and 32 women made the final cut, earning the chance to win $100,000.

Also going for the Grand Prize is 26-year-old Kwame Sarfo of Sayerville, 34-year-old Brad Schaeffer of Weehawkin, and 34-year-old Robbie Strauss of Brick.

The Titan Games premieres Thursday, January 3 at 8 p.m. on NBC.
