We had a "snow hole".  That's how Lite Rock Meteorologist Alan Kasper explains why Cape May and much of Atlantic County were the only place on most of the country's east coast not to get significant snowfall during Tuesday's storm.

Area snow totals fall in the 2-3 inch range, compared with a foot or more in other parts of New Jersey.

Even with lower snow fall amounts, most South Jersey schools have opted to close today and many roads wee were untreated and slippery because of blowing snow and icy conditions.  Be careful traveling!
