Every Thursday morning at 7:15am on the Lite Rock Morning Show, the Humane Society of Ocean City brings in the new Lite Rock Pet of the Week.

If you are thinking about adding a pet to your family, please consider adopting from the Humane Society of Ocean City, a no-kill shelter recognized as one of the nation’s top ten animal shelters.

All of the animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped before adoption. All animals also receive an Alumni Card which entitles them to a 10% lifetime discount for veterinary services at the Humane Society of Ocean City clinic.

This week we met Shiloh the dog...

Here is some information on Shiloh from the Humane Society of Ocean City:

"Shiloh is a 18 month-old female chocolate lab. She recently made the trek from Georgia to New Jersey searching for a forever home! She is a happy girl with a bouncy personality (chocolate lab, anyone?) and lots of energy.

Her favorite activities include: Sniffing things, romping around the yard, playing with toys, sniffing things, belly rubs, back scratches, and...sniffing things!

Shiloh is a typically outgoing girl, though she can have some reservations about strangers at first--she warms quickly with food and sweet-talkin' Intelligent, active, and affectionate, Shiloh is looking for a home with experienced dog owners (choco-lab even better).

Children are fine, mid-teens and up--Shiloh is a sturdy girl who works and plays vigorously! Other pooches should also be okay, Shiloh was in a play group with other doggies, though meet and greet is required (by appt. only). Cats are unknown, but she is a choco-labby-pooch...likely she will be interested and want to play/socialize with kitty as well as everyone else!

If you think Shiloh may be the fit for you, call the HSOC today to inquire about her! As always all of our animals are S/N, micro-chipped, and UTD on basics..
