The Christmas Tree that will light up Rockerfeller Ceneter this holiday season survivied the winds of Sandy. the 80 foot Norway spruce had been chosen to be this year's tree about four weeks ago from a rural North Jersey Community. The Tree weight 10 tons and is 50 feet in Diameter. The tree will be loaded on a 115-foot-long flatbed truck and erected at Rockefeller Center on Wednesday Novemember 28th. Workers will then string 45,000 lights on the branches.
