Let's call it a really bad day at work for burglary suspect Seven Stadler, and he has the mug shot to prove it.

The Margate man was... arrested for breaking in to the Atlantic City Car Wash on Albany Avenue Wednesday night. The Press of Atlantic City reports that an off-duty Atlantic City police officer noticed something wrong when he passed the car wash Wednesday around 10pm.

Officer Anthony Abrams called for reinforcements and identified himself to the suspect.  Police say Stadler then dropped his loot and punched the Officer Abrams.

That's when K-9 cops John Devlin and his partner Clancy showed up.  After warning the suspect not to fight or he would be bit, a tussle ensued with Stadler even punching Clancy the dog.  It would appear that Stadler got the worst of it.

The man was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical center then charged for burglary and aggravated assault on police.
