Would you still go to a casino nightclub after the casino closed down?

The owners of HQ, which rents space inside Revel Casino say, unlike the failed resort, their business was profitable and they want to continue operating.

Michael Barry, the manager of the trendy HQ Nightclub, tells the Press of Atlantic City, his company has already taken steps to try to remain open.  "We're vibrant. We're viable. We're looking to stay open.  We've had meeting, including at the state Division) of Gaming enforcement, the Atlantic City fire chief's office, (and) the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs."

HQ's owners, IDEA Boardwalk, LLC, also owns The Social  and the pool club inside Revel.

Barry said the nightclub employs about 250 people and has a private entrance, so club-goers would not have to transverse the casino grounds to access the nightclub.
