Reservists From EHT’s 177th Fighter Wing Deployed to Pacific

While most people in South Jersey spent Memorial Day at family barbeque's or on the beach, a group of reservists from the 177th Fighter Wing of the New Jersey Air National Guard prepared to deploy to the Pacific.

Dozens of servicemen and women reported to to the Hughes Technical Center in Egg Harbor Township for a Memorial Day deployment to an undisclosed location in the Pacific Theater, where, according to the Press of Atlantic City, for "a significantly extended time period".

The reservists, some of whom who have deployed previously as many as eight times, leave behind jobs, families, children and grand-children, for service to their country.

They have our thanks and thoughts for a safe return to South Jersey!
