Every Thursday morning at 7:15am on the Lite Rock Morning Show, the Humane Society of Ocean City brings in the new Lite Rock Pet of the Week.

UPDATE 1/26/17: Rerun was adopted.

If you are thinking about adding a pet to your family, please consider adopting from the Humane Society of Ocean City, a no-kill shelter recognized as one of the nation’s top ten animal shelters.

All of the animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped before adoption. All animals also receive an Alumni Card which entitles them to a 10% lifetime discount for veterinary services at the Humane Society of Ocean City clinic.

This week we met “Rerun” the cat.

Here is some information on Rerun from the Humane Society of Ocean City:

"Hey, Hey, Hey….what’s happenin’, everybody!! Rerun come at’cha 20+ pounds of fun…more bounce for the ounce and I say what counts!!

Meet Rerun, he is a neutered, solid gray male domestic short-haired cat. At about 7 years of age, Rerun is a wonderfully affectionate kitty, once he has warmed up to you!!

He has spent his whole life indoors, much of it with his two “step-brothers” Linus and Arnold; all three were adapted to the same home from the HSOC. They are not required to go together, but it would be more conducive to their adaptation if they did.

Rerun is quite affectionate, the definitive “lap cat”, but don’t let his size fool you, he is not a lazy fella!! He does enjoy some occasional play time and engaging some of the mysterious activities that cats do engage!

Rerun’s previous owner returned him (along with Linus and Arnold) due to visiting relatives being allergic.

Rerun is good with other cats (especially his step-brothers) and kids, and would probably be able to adapt to life with a dog(s).

If you are ready for tons of affection and fun, then come on down to the HSOC and meet Rerun today!!

As always, all of our animals are adopted having been S/N, UTD, and in good health!!"
