Proud Dad of a University of The Arts Grad
Yesterday was a very proud and emotional day for my wife and I as we watched our son Matthew, walk down South Broad Street to his graduation ceremonies at the Merriam Theater in downtown Philadelphia.
I can't believe how fast the past four years have just flown by. It seems like yesterday we were dropping him off to start the next chapter in his life at U Arts.
I know the last couple of months were very stressful for him as he tried to complete project after project. To say we are proud would probably be an understatement and I will admit to shedding tears on more than one occasion.
My son fell in love with living in Philly and it wouldn't surprise me if he makes his home there. At least we'll have my youngest with us until he takes off for Rowan in the fall.
One down, one to go! I'll now have two extra rooms in the Guida household.
