Presidential Plunge, Long Island Medium – Weekend Happenings

Lite Rock 96.9 WFPG invites you to take the plunge with us this weekend! Ventnor's first "Presidential Polar Plunge" is happening this Saturday at 11:15am on the Newport Ave. Beach.

Ventnor mad the decision this year to move Ventnor's Polar Bear Plunge from New Year's Day to President's Weekend. The shift in dates won't have too muchwarming impact on the water temp, with the ocean expected to be 39° on Saturday! But Lite Rock will be there and we are ready to get wet and then have a party!

Ventnor's Business Association, firefighters and police PBA are teaming up for this fun event, which kicks off with a pancake breakfast at 9am in St. James Hall.  Following the plunge, the party moves back to St. James Hall for a chili cook-off from noon-2pm.
