Plans for a New Atlantic City Stockton Campus Announced

Stockton's Atlantic City campus is becoming a reality.The Press of Atlantic City reports the new $200 million campus will be built in the Chelsea section of Atlantic City.

ACDEVCO, a non-profit developer 'created to spur investment and development in Atlantic City', will spearhead the new project.

Stockton purchased the Showboat casino for for $18 million in December of 2014. Plans to open a private hotel and Island Campus never materialized. it's still costing  Stockton  $40,000 a month for the cost of operating Showboat.

Earlier this summer, South Jersey Gas announced plans for a 75,000-square-foot corporate headquarters to be built on Albany Avenue at the Gateway site.
