Every Thursday at 7:15 a.m., the Humane Society of Ocean City brings a dog or cat on to the Lite Rock Morning Show.

This morning, Kevin from the Humane Society brought in an... 8-year-old Lhasa Apso named Mr. Gibbs.  The name comes from the character in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.  Mr. Gibbs was found stray in Ocean City and had to be nursed back to health.  He remains on a special food and eye drops and his next owner should expect those conditions to continue.  However, Mr. Gibbs is now in good health and ready to come home to your place!

Kevin advises that Lhasa Apsos are good companion dogs who seem to work out best in one or two person homes with no other pets and no children.

If you are interested in adopting Mr. Gibbs, contact the Humane Society of Ocean City at 609-399-2018.
