Pay-By-Phone Parking May Become a Reality in Cape May

Paying for parking in Cape May this summer could be as easy as using your smart phone. The use of phones to pay for your parking has been a staple in Wildwood since 2010. Cape May generates over $1 million dollars in parking revenue to help with the city budget. There are over 1,400 parking meters throughout out Cape May.

You'll  be able to use your smart to pay for parking while you're on the beach soaking up the rays or while you're shopping or enjoying dinner.

The new parking system could be in place by Memorial day weekend. According to Cape May officials one scenario would be to start using the new system after the kids are done with school in June or possibly after Labor Day.
