Parkway To Close in Middle Townnship

You may experience a BIG delay if you're traveling on the GSP tonight.

Both sides of the Parkway will close tonight from 8 PM right through Tuesday morning at 5 AM. The ongoing construction project to replace the three traffic signals on the parkway will cause the shutdown.

The nothbound and southbound lanes will be closed between Shellbay Avenue near mile 9 and Crest Haven Road near mile 11. Traffic will be detoured to Route 9.

Acording to police, If you're headed south , you'll have to get off at Exit 11 and use Route 9 south to Shellbay Avenue to get on the parkway. Northbound motorists will be detoured on Bayberry Drive. You will be abble  to access the parkway south at Shellbay Avenue. Follow the detour signs posted by police.
