Trying to pass off counterfeit $50 bills three times in one afternoon on the Ocean City Boardwalk is enough to get people's attention.  Police are hoping you can identify their person of interest in the crime.

Ocean City Police say one man has been pictured near the scene of the crime all three times the bogus bills were used Monday afternoon, once on the 1000 block, then twice on the 600 block.

The man used the funny money to pay for small cash purchases.  Police said that they were notified quickly, and they let all boardwalk and downtown merchants know about the counterfeit money.

The man in question is described as being tattooed, having facial hair and a distinctive hair cut in the back.
