If you consider yourself a stargazer, this is the one astronomical event you don't want to miss this year.

On November 14th, we'll experience the supermoon of a lifetime! According to CNN, if you happen to step outside on November 14th, the moon will be the biggest and brightest since 1948. 1948! We'll have to wait another 18 years, until the year 2034 to see another supermoon like this.

According to Wikipedia, a supermoon is when a full or new moon will have the closet approach to earth on its elliptical orbit.

The best time to see the supermoon at it's peak will be 8:52 AM EST on November 14th according to Space.com.
